I'm fairly new to Team Titleist and made the switch to the ProV1 at the end of the 2020 season. The feel that the ProV1 gives compared to any other ball I've tried has been so much better and it honestly makes me feel dumb for not switching sooner lol. Can't wait to get a sleeve of the all new ProV1 and see how they've improved on their already fantastic golf ball.

    Cheers to the 2021 season!

Still playing the first ball of the "White Box" (4th round on it). Holding up well. On Friday, hit a low wedge on a 75 yd. par 5 approach. One hop and stop to 4 ft. Made the putt for the circle 4. Proving and Loving it.

Thousands of Team Titleist members have tested the all-new 2021 Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls reporting noticeable distance gains, better greenside spin and control, and softer feel. It has been hard to keep quiet, but the time has come to unveil how we have increased performance through every single layer of the golf ball:

    • Reformulated 2.0 ZG Process Cores - delivers increased distance in the solid core Pro V1 and dual core Pro V1x.
    • Faster High-Flex Casing Layer - adds speed and lowers long game spin. This highly-resilient, high-speed ionomer was initially developed for and validated by Pro V1x Left Dash.
    • New, Softer Cast Urethane Elastomer Cover – the softest cover formulation ever used on a Pro V1 or Pro V1x – increases greenside spin for more control in the short game.
    • New Spherically-tiled Tetrahedral Dimple Designs – featuring a 388 dimple layout for Pro V1, and 348 for Pro V1x – are optimized to each model to maximize distance and flight consistency. Pro V1 maintains its penetrating trajectory while Pro V1x will fly higher than the prior generation.

The new 2021 Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls hit golf shops Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2021, and will be available in White and High Optic Yellow. Enjoy!

HeY Team Titleist! I was able to get out on Monday and wanted to throw in some feedbac. I played 9 holes with the 2020 prov1 then switched to the 2021 version on the back. I did notice a few subtle differences. Ill start with coming off the driver i felt it had more pop off the face of the driver and irons. I will say i feel the workability was so close i will need more time to play shots between the two before i can decide. I saw a big improvement around the greens with spin being the biggest difference i was able spin it more but again im going to need more time. Now off the putter i was impressed mostly because i love the feel of the Pasy pro v's, On the new 2021 Pro v i feel like the ball feels softer but much more durable.
Attached you'll see a pic of the only mark on the ball after 9 holes. I was very impressed being that i used a brand new Sm8 60 with freshie grooves, Ball held up much better than i expected, I have an issue with chewing up balls with the wedge.
All in all a great ball just got better. I love the updates you guys have made, I look forward to gaming in 2021. One of my goals this season is to break 80, I have a feeling this will give me an edge.

I played with mine this weekend for the first time. I have to say, this is one significant change to a ball that is already the best in the game. It flies slightly higher, definitely feels softer and spins effectively to and around the greens. I don't know how they did it, but this ball is light years ahead of everything else.
    Thanks Titleist!

Love the info on the new balls! As I can attest, the ProV1 has a great penetrating trajectory. Can't wait to get it out in warmer weather. I will be at my local golf store when these come out to get my box of ProV1's for sure. :)

This is awesome I can’t wait to try it , thank you for the update allan!!!
  9. I put the 2021 Pro V1s into play this past Sunday. Compared to the 2019 ball, the 2021 had better feel and I was able to stop it better around the greens. It came off the driver well and was easy to work both ways with the irons. Also felt good off the putter. I generally play the AVX. I look forward to testing the new Pro V1x when it becomes available in my pro shop. My handicap is 5, and clubs are TS3 woods, T200 irons, Vokey SM6 wedges, and Newport Select M1 putter. Thanks for the opportunity to test, and I hope my input is helpful.

2021 Pro V1X is most likely the best ball ever manufactured on this planet.
I'll be putting the ball in as soon as I can pick some up!!!

Didn’t get a white box but I have picked up a box of the new Prov1 and I have to say that I now will be switching from the T5 from TM to titleist!
  12. Having tested the ProV1 (white box), the soft cover did make it easier to produce better feel and more bite on low spinner chip shots. The cover was surpassingly durable given it is softer, but it did not last an entire round without some decent abrasions. Ball flight was noticeably lower too, without any loss of spin. I did compare it against the Vice Pro ball, and the quality gap is now wider in favor of the ProV1. Outstanding work!

I have normally been an X ball player but my son's coach said you should work from the green backward with respect to a ball. I like a softer feel and more spin which falls into the V category. I will probably buy a sleeve of the V and test them out. I did play the previous version of the V and liked it. So if what I am reading holds true where both will fly higher than previous years I think the V will be the winner.

They are available at my local shop starting today. Playing next week so will have to go pick some up.

Stickler for appearance so I prefer the black number on the ProV over the X and -X. But I prefer the lower spin and firmer feel of the X and -X.

Would like to see the low spin option with the firmer feel be available in the black numbering. Will the left dash be updated for 2021 as well?
  15. Titleist has certainly given me something food for thought by sending me a “white box” sleeve of 2021 Pro V1 to try. Pro V1x has always clearly been the best golf ball for my game. Over the years I have briefly tried AVX, Pro V1, Left Dash Pro V1x or various non-Titleist balls but when I return to Pro Vv1x the high flight and stopping power helps my game every time.

So this year, like every year, I had planned on getting four dozen Pro V1x during the spring Loyalty Rewarded promotion. But after three rounds and some on-course short game practice with the 2021 Pro V1 it is just sooooo tempting to buy some and keep playing them. Can’t pin down exactly why it works for me but I seem to play well (by my standards!) and an unusual number of short game shots or full shots in the wind end up going exactly where I want them to go. It’s just a ball that suits my touch and feel on judgment shots.

Now that they are available in our pro shop, guess I need to buy a sleeve of the new Pro V1x to try. Hard to believe I’d like it even better but past experience tells me V1x is always the way to go. Luckily I have a few weeks before the time to decide on this year’s ball.
