Been holding off to buy a new set of irons. These look great cannot wait to try them.
  2. I have a big to all of the guys who have been involved to develop the new range of irons. From the photos released so far they just look phenomenal in the cleanness to the eye and really elegant. They would be something that every golfers eye would be drawn to when they walk into their local pro shop or retailer and I have to question the sanity of anyone who doesn’t like the look of them.

If I put them in my bag, I would continuing with making sure I had head covers on each of them to protect them as I do with my 718 AP3’s because something that good looking tou just have to have pride in keeping them in mint condition and the grooves free of any grass or dirt.

Excited to see more photos! First impressions: huge improvements on the T200, The U505 is something I'm excited to put in the bag this year. Unpopular opinion the T100 and T100s don't look as good as the previous generation, but ill wait to see them in person to pass final judgment.

Cannot wait to see the specs on the T100. Hopefully the keep it closer to traditional lofts. The current T100 also has the best looking thin top line out there at address for players-cavity irons IMO, hopefully they keep that too. The picture of the new T100 looks absolutely gorgeous.

Looking forward to finding out more about 2022 T200s.

They look amazing. I thought I was never going to let go of my AP3s but the time might just be right.

The new T200s look extremely clean and eye-catching. I am drooling!

    Hi All
Is there a possibility that the U505 will be a full set of irons?

Love the new look. But ... there seems to be a similarity to my old 712 AP2's. Hmmm ... just adjust the internal tungsten weighting around but keep the head shape?

Wow, the new irons look awesome! Great job by the ppl behind it. We'll see, i may have to try these out!
  12. I am completely upset. As a lifetime Titleist player, I literally just received my T100-S order and have 2 rounds with them, and then this announcement comes out.

I asked the retailer and the Titleist customer service (during order tracking) is this line would be updated and both gave me the same response. "no, not this cycle"......so I drop $1000

My order comes in, i play twice and now I see this. I am 100% disappoinited for the 1st time in my life with Titleist and the retail partner (CGL) for not mentioning this just 6 weeks ago.

I would have waited. Now my clubs which are two weeks old are worth 50% of what i paid

Tim, sorry for your disappointment and not sure who in customer service you talked with but sounds like it was in tracking after your order was placed. Titleist has been using this 2-year cycle for years. There have been numerous posts about the anticipation of the next line of clubs with some slight concerns about delays due to COVID but nothing to indicate that Titleist would stop doing their cyclic upgrades. I realize you feel betrayed by this announcement but it really is not a surprise to most of us, knowing the past releases and the timing of tour seeding and then fall release to the public. Also, Titleist personnel or any TT equipment testers are not allowed to disclose any pre-release information prior to public announcements. This will always create a bit of a stir on new releases. Hopefully when you fall in love with the performance of your T100s's you will be glad you got them.

Titleist nearly always releases irons every two years. This is no different. These are not "this cycle" or on the market at present and likely won't be for another couple/few months. Tour testing is a standard process that happens every year for the coming year's launch, usually around this time of year. My guess is that fittings for this new iteration will not even be offered until late summer or September, with a launch date slated for October. But who knows with all the shipping delays from China, so it might even be later. So, I wouldn't worry. Play your new ones for a few months and then put them up for sale for a good price when the 2022 model comes out. They are Titleist. You will have no problem getting top dollar. Just think of any loss of value as the price you have to pay to play them in the meantime.

I realize the T100 S version came out a few months after the T100 irons were released, and that may (or may not) be the case again this time too. That remains to be seen.

I've been in your shoes with a similar situation and was a little upset at the time, myself. I got fit for the original version of the T100 and T200, after playing iterations of the AP2s for many years. I wanted the forged T100 irons, which felt so much like my AP2s, but loved the extra distance of the T200. They looked okay to me too, but nothing as nice as the T100 did. After much deliberation, I opted for the added distance and went with the T200 irons. They turned out to be great irons, but I never loved them like my old AP2s. I felt I wasn't quite as accurate with the T200s. Not long after they were delivered to me, the T100S-version was announced. Had I known at my fitting, I would have waited to order.

In the end, I have played the T200 for a couple years and was generally happy with them, though never cared for the look of the longer irons, which have a bit too much going on in the cavity for my eye. Consequently, I have been waiting with high anticipation for the 2022 T100S to be announced. I've already decided they will be in my bag this fall if they are available. In the meantime, my "old" T200s are wonderful clubs, just like your "old" T100S will be. You will have no problem selling them and putting the proceeds towards a 2022 set of them.
  15. If it any help you have bought a top class set of clubs and I am sure you will enjoy playing with as I have over the last 9 months
If they help you achieve better scores that is all that counts really
  16. Same exact situation, not a mention that they were couple weeks away from releasing new version ..

Also, just a reminder for those of you who might need a bit more forgiveness than the T100 or T200 offers, this announcement is for Tour Seeding and so you can expect that Titleist will probably also release a T300 version in the fall when these go public. Yes, these are SICK looking irons but probably not your only options for upgrade if you love the current T300 or older AP1.

I'm currently gaming the T-100s and I like the simplicity of the new T series irons. To me, the new T200 design is a real deviation from the prior T-200. The prior T200 has a lot of visible tech integrated in the design and the new T200 does not...maybe it's hidden. I can't wait to learn more and hit the new T series irons.
