Left Dash is a great ball. It fits everything from driver to putter, spin, good height on all the clubs and especially working the ball when necessary. Love to chip when I don’t reach the green, excellent control with spin on the green.
  2. I ordered two dozen custom designed Team Titleist Pro V1x balls last fall. I’m 69 and a 9.8 index with 90 swing speed. I’ve tried other premium balls but I get the best distance & overall performance from the Pro V1x. I’ve given a ball or two to friends to try and they’re sold.

The season is in full swing, so we thought it would be a good time for a quick check-in with all of you to see which Titleist golf ball you've been teeing up this season. Let us know in the quick poll below.

As always, we'd love to hear any feedback about your ball - especially if you're playing a different model than before - or even stories about an amazing shot you've hit this season. So don't forget to add a comment to this thread.

We can't wait to see what you all have to say!

I switched to the left dash after a ball fitting last summer. I’m 73 years old and love the feel and sound of the ball.

I’ve been playing Tour Soft then switched to ProV1x. I’m hitting it higher and longer. My scores are going down also. Definitely my new ball.
  6. I don’t know which ball to play. My swing speed is below 70. Which one would be best for me?
  7. Went to Ashland High from 69-72.
Have played Titleist since the 1960's.

I’ve played ProV for over 30 years. I’ve tested other brands and have always come back to this quality ball. It provides the consistency that I can depend on.
  9. Would like to play the AVX more

I work at a golf course and I find a lot of different balls. Always fun to test out the many varieties on the market. Been a Titleist man for decades. Played the AVX for several seasons and loved them. Found a True feel late last summer and played a couple of rounds with it and just love the feel coming off the face...I’m 67 and swing speed is declining...this is now my favorite ball.
  11. In 2020 I was using chrome soft x (2019 model) and I like that fact that I was able to spin the ball on the greens. Now In 2021 I have switch to pro v1 (last gen model) and I have been have trouble getting that spin that I had. This Monday I will be playing with the new pro v1x and hope to get that spin that I desire.
  12. I am a big fan of the Pro-V1X golf ball. I have been playing it for the last 3 years and become much better at controlling my shots with it. It has also opened my eyes to using back spin on wedge shots, something I had tried before but had very little success with. In comparison to the TM TP5, the Pro-V1X has given me a little more distance, but as stated earlier better shot control.

I'm currently playing the AVX. I enjoy the penetrating ball flight and the ball seems to perform superior into head and side winds. My handicap is 5 but at times I hit errant drives. While I do not have any scientific data to support that AVX imparts less side spin, my driving stats have improved drastically since changing to this ball. I've noticed very little difference between the AVX and Pro V relative to green holding on full shots, I do think the Pro V spins more on shots of 25 yards or less. The AVX however is quite competent on shorter shots but those who make the change to this ball should expect an adjustment period relative to all short shots including putting. If your a decent player who would like your drives to run out a bit more and work less at moving your irons the distance you want, this ball is for you. I play with a lot a capable senior players who have made the switch to AVX and claim they will never go back to their previous gamer.
  14. I actually found an AVX in the water (looked brand new) I used it for the rest of my round. I didn't if know that ball existed. I went out an bought a dozen the next day. Depending on what course I am playing I will use either the Pro V1X or The AVX. Both great Balls

I played the AVX last year and I loved the distance! But on my longer irons I could not hold the greens. I’m playing the ProV 1 this year because of the more spin on my longer irons and it’s overall feel on every shot and putt.

Like the new feel the Pro V1X has, for the warmer weather. Easy off the driver and great on the green. I'm 73 with a swing speed in the 90's and from Minnesota. We have cold weather golf in the Fall and Spring, so for this I prefer the Tour Speed. I judge my golf balls by there compression ratings to determine if they may be a fit for my game. Thanks for asking.

I have tried playing the AVX and haven't given up on it yet but the TruFeel is just a so good for the price. As a senior golfer and at 66 years old a slower swing speed the softer TruFeel seems to give a better short game. I like the feel of both of these golf balls and as I said the AVX off the tee might give a little more roll out and know that the $20 price difference is hard to justify on a fix income.
  18. I was playing the TM Tp5 good ball so I stuck with it for awhile but didn't feel quite right? So I went back to my Pro V1. And I love the ball it's the best ball in the world!! No doubt I've been playing for 30 years and I always come back to it. My first hole in one was a proV1 and my 2nd!! I will never change again. Even though my hole in one balls burned up in a house fire can't replace them!! I miss them. Keep making the best. Todd Lewallen 10 hdcp
  19. I play Pro-v1x in yellow. I'm comfortably a single digit handicap now. Thanks for an outstanding product
