Interesting to see the low number playing the Tour Speed and Soft when NXT was very popular ball.

I have switched back to the ProV1 from the Left Dash.Playing a links course which has firmed up I need more feel/spin.
  3. I’ve been playing a yellow pro V1 this season and because the weather has been so wet and some parts of the course having long grass it’s been easier to find. Also it’s a ball to suit what I feel is an all round game, good flight, good distance, and positive pitch. I say well done titleist.

I like the soft feel for putting but play pro v1 wish we could swap on the green

The season is in full swing, so we thought it would be a good time for a quick check-in with all of you to see which Titleist golf ball you've been teeing up this season. Let us know in the quick poll below.

As always, we'd love to hear any feedback about your ball - especially if you're playing a different model than before - or even stories about an amazing shot you've hit this season. So don't forget to add a comment to this thread.

We can't wait to see what you all have to say!

As a relatively new recruit to the game and a relatively high senior handicapper (WHS index 16) I find that my average drive distance is around 250 yards no matter which ball I use, but the tour soft gives me a better response and control on approach shots to our links greens.
  6. Velocity was recommend by my pro for my golf swing and speed, I think it's a great ball and I get on well with it.

I play the pro v 1 , just got new irons t 200 and I have been hitting them way to low , advice from a Titleist pro recommened me to try the Prov 1 x for more height ? I did get my first ace with my new clubs , 9 iron from 133 yards.

Definitely think the AVX reduces spin with the driver, it might not stop as quick as a Pro V1 or X but it responsive enough to reward good shots
  10. Played prov1 since it replaced the professional and tour balata before that.
Tried most of the others but seen no reason to change.
I’ll play a harder ball in the Scottish winter though.

I just seem to get on really well with the Tour Soft. I especially like the softer feel around the greens and for putting.
  12. Handicap 7.6 been playing Pro V1 for 2 yrs but recently switched to AVX. Just my opinion but better feel off both driver and putter face. Even getting 15-25 yards more distance with the TS2 driver than the ProV1. Maybe just suits my swingspeed.
  13. For best all round feel and distance control , especially on short game

Best all round ball for distance and ball control with short game.

I played Pro V1x and Snells MTB-X before. Switched to Pro V1x Left Dash as the Ball provides me a bit more length, but still get good green side control with it.
  17. Switched from prov x to prov 1 this year love the feel.
  18. Like the VI, the X gets cut too quick and barely lasts 18 the VI does 2-3 rounds provided I don't find too many trees and bunkers ;-))

I have always preferred the prov1 as I liked the slightly softer feel. However having attended a ball fitting day the better results were with the prov1x. Higher launch and steeper decent, with 3-5 yds extra carry. Now using prov1x

I was lucky to travel to the Manchester Lane Test Facility and got fit with the Pro V1 and have been happy ever since.
