    Hi Team Titleist,

One of the most exciting weeks in all of golf is finally here yet again: The Ryder Cup! I’m absolutely stoked to see the best in the world represent their respective sides of the pond in a team format at Whistling Straits.

For me, I have to say my favorite session to watch is always the singles matches. The players come out fired up to win a point for their team and it gets me going every time.

How about you? Cast your vote in the quick poll below and feel free to add a reply to join the conversation!

Even though I like four-ball (best ball), it is the singles matches that gets my juices flowing. It seems for some reason, USA does not do well in foursomes. Maybe we like formats that favor our team more. Should the winds get up at the matches, I think it should favor the Euros. My better half will be out of town visiting family in Memphis and I can catch as much Ryder Cup as I please, uninterrupted. My have to record the matches on Saturday for SEC football, which is King in our part of the country. =)

It's gotta be the singles matches. Lately, in both the men's and ladies' Cup matches, the singles are what decides the outcome.
  4. love the foursomes - proper team play! Is going to be a great watch!!

I like foursomes as it is truly the only completely unique event and "team" golf event. Every other event each player is playing their own ball tee to green...like any other golf match, whether match or stroke play.

    Lethbridge,

Foursomes for me. Always something interesting can happen. When your only play 18 holes anything can happen. I love watching everything dealing the Ryder Cup. It’s great theatre.

While the singles matches are always the most adrenaline-filled, I do like the true team aspect of foursomes.

Singles matches are undoubtedly the most thrilling and memorable format of the Ryder Cup. Having said that, I find four-ball (best ball) extremely fun to watch.

Singles is the best watch, everyones out there and with the 12 points up for grabs it pretty much decides the winner! Looking forward to it!

Four ball is my favorite as it’s the only true team part of the Cup experience. We need to see more of this in golf!

Foursomes! Teamwork and communication are essential and fun to watch these guys battle it out.

I really enjoy watching the four ball. Ultimately though, the most excitement is the individual play.

Singles, hands down. Familiar for the players, but undoubtedly they still compete for team and country/continent. Momentum seems, in my opinion, to shift more quickly than in a partner format.
  18. Foresomes for sure! Totally unique format that requires Team Work and patience, with a little humility added in.

I like seeing the strategy of foursomes especially seeing guys that wouldn’t normally play together play super well.

I really enjoy watching the foursomes matches.
  21. Foursomes for me. As the Ryder Cup is a true team event, this is the only format where you are reliant on your teammate to win. No greater pressure than having to hit good shot after good shot. In four ball, and singles you can get away with more bad swings and still come out ahead.
