Gators, Deer, Coyote, Eagles, and Osprey are the more common ones here in Florida. One of the courses I worked at used to get turkeys as well.

Same in New Jersey plus Black Bears. The most frustrating are the "two legged slow pokes" ....lol

The dreaded “two legged slow poke” that seem to travel in packs of 5+…. At least down here in Tennessee they do.‍♂️

Sounds like that is an issue with the course(s) you play. I play at a local municipal down here in Charleston and NO fivesomes are allowed. We do around 65,000 rounds a year. Do they keep up with pace of play? Are they playing over four hours? Do they have open holes in front of them? Do the courses have marshals to speed up play?

To answer your question, no they don’t keep pace of play, yes there are holes open in front of them, no there no Marshalls ensuring pace. I play a lot of rounds mid-week because of my schedule. It seems to be the group of men who block out tee times from 0800-1130 that enjoy a 5-6 hour round playing as anywhere from. 6-8some. I think the local courses just accept it, and are cool with it if the tee sheets are booked every week. I 4 of 5 courses in town operate this way, so I gladly take my business elsewhere

We have a lot of Canadian geese. If it weren't for all their droppings, I wouldn't mind them on the course. What they leave behind makes them more like pests IMO.

Fire ants, water moccasins, copperheads, ospreys, retail hawks, bald eagles, racoons, storks, alligators, herons, ibis, egrets, cormorants, various migrant duck species, whitetail deer, red fox, and tourists who hide beer in the golf bags, who think that our beloved foxes are are dogs. ha..ha.. Something special about living along the coast and lowcountry of South Carolina. =)

How could I forget our visitors from Canada who saw, came, conquered and many stayed. Those geese love our great state and for Dale's beloved grey squirrels, the hawks have to have something to eat, and we have our share.
Lots of mullet and bass in the twelve ponds/lakes for the wildlife fish eaters as well as blue crabs. Life is good for wildlife at the MUNI. When the weather is bad out in the ocean, the sandpipers, skimmers and gulls come by for a visit and we are about fifteen miles from the ocean. The city offers Uber service for shore birds.
  16. Fox and Geese... wish the geese wouldn't come back

The foxes need to do a better job with the geese ;-)

We had about a 500-lbs. black bear come out from the woods on the right side of the front tees while we were waiting to tee off in a tournament from the blue tees, maybe 30 yards further back. The bear stopped on the tee box in front of us and turned to stare at us. He stared for a good 20 seconds, processing what he was seeing. I guess he figured 4 guys with long weapons in our hands and two carts was more than he was in the mood to take on. He then continued across the tee boxes to the woods on the other side. I think we were all gripping our drivers a little tighter than normal while he sat there contemplating his next move.

I regularly see far too many deer, at least couple coyotes, many species of predatory birds, snakes, foxes, as well as tons of rabbits and a bunch of other non-threatening wildlife.

I have seen deer, turkey, coyote, hawks, and rattlesnakes but unfortunately, our greatest population of wildlife are ground squirrels. Hundreds of those destructive monsters.

At my Jersey Shore course I've seen, deer, geese, skunks possums, red tail hawks, sparrow hawks, ducks, snakes, squirrels, chipmunks, bald eagles, fox, ospreys , buzzards, rabbits, turtles, fish, song birds, and a few golfers that acted like animals. Lol! It really has been a great place to work and play for the last 26yrs.

Plenty! Some of them are gorgeous and they fly and dive for their prey- hawks are fun to watch, big cats scares me- bobcats, coyote, and slinky no legged winders with a maracas on their tails, too. Ravens whom have learned to unzip golf bags along with the little critters who steals my snacks. And then there are those animals who takes my beer money :-) (lol)

Way too many deer along with the occasional bear, coyotes, fox and the owners three chocolate labs. When I play at my parents course in Florida, the racoons are so brave they will enter your cart and steal all your snacks! On a good note...they don't touch my beer!
