I choose other, both. I have a Skytrack at home and my club purchase 2 Trackman simulators w/ RCT balls last Fall and got to use them a lot this winter. I usually go with one other club member to split the hourly cost so it works out.

I do like indoor simulators in the off season to keep loose with woods. irons and chipping especially with the new RCT balls. Putting I never take seriously. The new RCT ball definitely changes the way I look at numbers especially spins. When swinging the Vokey's, and see the ball spin back, you look at the numbers, "yup, I hit that right" and just keep it going. It's fun. I enjoy it.

I love the Trackman especially if you have a good understanding what the numbers mean b/c you can work on your swing off that. The only thing I dislike (sure i'm not the only one) is hitting off the mat but knowing the numbers now, you can definitely tell at times if you hit the ball first or fat.

IMO the RCT balls was a big hit at our club. The outside cover doesn't last long haha.. Rightfully so since it's constantly being pounded to the screen from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. 4 days a week but it still records accurate number so it's awesome. Taking a ball tour (3rd time, never gets old) in April and kinda hope they have that there but doubt they do. Would love to see how that's made.

I've never been to an indoor simulator except for a fitting. That was it. It's like a video game but with golf clubs in my mind ;)

I fall into the OTHER category. There may be places with indoor simulators somewhere near me, but I'm lucky enough to spend the bulk of the winter months in Southwest FL. Lots of courses and warm weather makes it easy to get my game on-track for the Midwest golf season when I get home.

Can't say thatI have been to the Newport facility, but have heard really good things about it. Indoor areas are great up in the northeast - would love to see more pop up. There is a TopGolf simulator at Splitsville at Patriot Place (Foxboro, MA), but am not familiar with many more in the area.

There is an outdoor range near me with heated stalls. Not the best but on a weekly basis it helps keep the golf muscles limber.

I go to Newport Indoor Golf quite a bit and did notice that the Trackman did track the RCT balls a little better than the regular Titleist balls I play, even when swapping between the two, there were numbers that were slightly different (and more closer together) with the RCTs vs the nons.

I know some folks don't like it, especially they say trying to figure out the putting, but while it is different I don't think it's that hard or that long to figure it out. The indoor golf I describe as like bowling.....you play your shot, then have a sip of beer, or wing or nachos while you wait for your next turn. Hey it's better than not playing in places like the dreaded Northeast in winter.
