    Hey Team Titleist!

What happens when seven of the top amateur golf events in the world come together as one series? A dramatic proving ground for the game’s youngest and brightest to earn their stripes before a career in professional golf awaits. This past summer we followed five of the game's rising stars this summer throughout the Elite Amateur Golf Series - get to know them below and make sure to watch the full video here.

    Dylan Menante

Introduced to the game through his father, San Diego native Dylan Menante began his collegiate career just up the 405 and off the Pacific Coast Highway at Pepperdine University, where he played three seasons with the Waves. Menante was a part of their championship winning team in 2021, was a two-time all All-American, and won the West Coast Conference Player of the Year. After a Northeast Amateur victory in 2021, Menante became just the fifth player in event history to become a repeat winner, as he broke the tournament scoring record with a 19-under-par performance at Wannamoisett Country Club in Rhode Island. Menante since has transferred to the University of North Carolina, where he will finish out his collegiate career. Currently, Menante is the sixth ranked player in the Men’s World Amateur Golf Ranking.

    Palmer Jackson

University of Notre Dame Senior Palmer Jackson began playing golf as soon as he could walk – and has been chasing his dream of being one of the greats of the game ever since. A Pennsylvania native, Jackson has three amateur wins under his belt, and has one of the best U.S. Amateur runs by a Notre Dame golfer ever to his name, making it to the quarterfinals in 2019 at Pinehurst. His first collegiate win came shortly after, a 16-under-par and new program 54-hole record at the Quail Valley Intercollegiate.

    Gordon Sargent

Now a sophomore at the University of Vanderbilt, Gordon Sargent had a freshman campaign for the books, capped off by winning the 2022 NCAA Individual National Championship. Along with that, the Birmingham, Alabama native was named SEC Freshman of the Year, a Haskins Award Finalist, and First Team All-American. Sargent has two top five finishes in Elite Amateur Series events to his name, a runner-up at the 2021 Western Amateur, and a fourth place finish this past summer at the Northeast Amateur. Currently, Sargent sits as the fourth ranked player in the Men’s World Amateur Golf Ranking.

    Luke Potter

From getting through Wisconsin winters with plastic balls and clubs at a young age, to being one of the best players in his recruiting class, Arizona State’s Luke Potter is a player to watch. This past summer, Potter made quarterfinals run in the U.S. Junior Amateur, a Round of 16 run in the U.S. amateur, and had a top-10 finish in the Trans-Mississippi Amateur Championship at Denver Country Club.

    Garrett Rank

An NHL Referee turned Mid-Amateur stalwart; Garrett Rank has plenty of game to compete with the best. His win at the 2019 Western Amateur isn’t just a flash in the pan, but a culmination of the work he puts into his game. Along with his victory in 2019, Rank qualified for the 2018 U.S. Open at Shinnecock, and won the 2018 Ontario Men’s Amateur and Mid-Amateur Championship. Rank made a Round of 16 run as well at the 2021 U.S. Mid-Amateur at Sankaty Head. “The only pressure for me is the pressure I put on myself,” said Rank. “I always laugh and look back and say I’m out here on vacation, so if I’m not having fun or enjoying myself out there, I should probably find something else to do.”

As an avid golf fan and former college golfer myself, it's amazing to see these young players shining on the Elite Amateur Golf Series stage. I remember how challenging it was to balance academics with golf practice and competitions during my student days, so I have a great deal of respect for these talented athletes who are succeeding both on and off the course. I also remember how hard was to keep pace with all classes, but I found this site essays.edubirdie.com/law-dissertation-help which helped me a lot in this issue. I can relate to the passion and dedication that Dylan Menante, Palmer Jackson, Gordon Sargent, Luke Potter, and Garrett Rank have for the sport, and their impressive achievements serve as a great inspiration for aspiring golfers everywhere. It's always exciting to see young players make a name for themselves in the amateur ranks before turning pro, and I can't wait to follow their careers and see what they accomplish next.
