  1. Hi, so after quite a lengthy time out due to kids, marriage, life in general I decided to get back into Golf and honestly I couldn’t be happier. Started working at a golf retail store and have just loved being back around it all!

So my main target is to finish building my bag which is all Titleist so far, (Scotty putter and a T100S gap still needed) then to start working on getting my handicap. I’ve set myself a target to get down to 15 by 2025 which I’m hoping is very achievable. Been taking a few lessons with my local coach to help me on my way too so fingers crossed!
  2. I live in Canada and our golf season is pretty short. I'm going to try to get in at least 25 games this year and maybe get back to Cabot Cliffs again.
  3. Desperate for weather to change to get out on the course to get some practice in with my new TSRs and T200 irons not too mention new set of SM9 wedges.
  4. That’s a great goal. Not sure how much you have the chance to play over there, but short game work is the way to get there!!
  5. My goal is to average in the 70s next year, coming off last year where I average just over 82 that may be not super realistic but hoping at least to have 50% of my rounds in the 70s. Last year was my first year where I never once failed to break 90, sweated out a few high 80s but was proud to not shoot a round 90+ all year.

Like I tell alot of people I play golf with one shot one thought. Small gains every time you go out. You will be in a better position at the end of the year. Good luck.

    Cheers.

That's good physcology. My mental game lets me down a bunch. But have been working hard to change it. One bad shot doesn't ruin a round

I too have a goal to reduce my hcp by 3. Also to reduce strokes gain within 50 yards of the green.

Mine is to shoot below 90 more consistently. I'm sure it's this way for most people, but if my drive goes wayward, I struggle scrambling. Recently with my ball switch from the Pro V1X to the AVX, I've found more consistent drives. I also seem to really like the Pro V1 Left Dot, but they are hard to come by.

I am trying to get back in the plus handicap territory as I got to +0.2 for a little while and then my putter went south. I did switch to a long putter (ala Adam Scott) and its really changed my game.
  14. Eliminate 3 putts.....
  15. Hoping to reduce my handicap from 10.2 to single figures, lessons booked and some fitness training should hopefully do the trick.

  17. Getting Fitted for Titleist Driver next week so I'm really looking forward to this.
    Move from a 9 handicap to a high 7.
I'm a decent ball striker but need to score better when in the fairway.
I play with a gent who is much better than me. He can leave the game for months at a time and still shoot par after a little warm up. I want to learn/gain from his mentality and how he puts himself in position to score.
Good gosh, I love this game!

Mine is to get to single digit HC. My short game is decent, but I have been putting in the work around and on the greens.

My goal this year is to break 90! I started playing seriously at the beginning of last year after just casually for the 7 or 8 years before that, and I broke 100 a few times last year (with quite a few rounds right on the dot). My irons are getting more consistent so it feels more doable every round.

Looking at getting fitted for a newer Titleist set in the fall to reward myself.
