Let me know when you start looking at flights. Would be interested in maybe flying out as a group. Is Austin going?

WOW! Yesterday was just Team Titleist karma. Invitational drops as myself, others and AB are getting ready to tee off for a SoCal TT event.
Feeling extremely lucky to have checked email and responded in time.

Looking forward to seeing/meeting everyone. Will probably be driving from SoCal if anyone wants to consider carpooling.

  10. I received the email from tpc saying they’ll be in contact within 48 hours but still haven’t heard anything. Does anyone know where to followup?

Did someone from TPC get back to you? I know there was a huge demand for this event for both reserved and waiting list members. You might take a few days more than the 48hrs given to you in the initial email.
  12. Yep! I got my confirmation yesterday. They must’ve been really busy. Excited for the event - my first TT was during COVID at bandon.

Good to hear you got the call back. I attended the TTI at Bandon also. It was unfortunate that the pandemic restrictions limited our interactions to time during our rounds and the range session at Sheep Ranch. Hopefully we'll have an opportunity to share our Bandon TTI stories and reminisce in person at TTI 2023.

Suddenly realized that my wife had not used up all my frequent flyer miles on her girls trips to the Gulf Coast. Made my reservations on Delta this morning and will be there around 230 on Thursday. Real excited to see all my friends from past events. Should be a winner.

We'll see you there! Hopefully your swing is loose and easy. How's the rehab going? I hope all is well.

It is going pal. Think I have about three sessions left. My game is definitely is bipolar. A work in progress after the five month layoff. Working with the pros at my course with my game and going to join the senior center to get some weight training. My body is a wreck. Played with my teaching pro today. He could see some improvement but we still have a long way back. Have seven months to get ready for you hustlers. ha..ha..ha..ha..

Chris, see ya there! I had a funny experience the other day on the range. I saw a guy a ways down the range and he was a dead ringer for you. I was about to walk up and say hi when he turned around and I saw a TM hat!!!! Aargh!!! Instantly I knew it COULDN'T be you. :) I just thought you should know you have a doppelganger out there and he's playing the wrong brand.

Don’t have to worry about a hurricane in Arizona. An easy drive east for me on the 10.

Going to be a great time. Can’t wait. Need to get my game in shape.

To the first timers coming, enjoy every moment, look forward to meeting you and catching up with friends.

    Abdon,

The course was in amazing shape. Best I’ve seen it. All the rain has helped with conditions.

The event was great, everyone had a great time and funny TTI dropped the same day.

We will do it again next year and go a little bigger.

Best of luck with yours next week.

Let’s try to grab a round together at TTI.

We had our Sacramento TT event last Monday. The weather was fantastic, the course was great, and the wildflowers were blooming. We had our local Titleist rep giving everyone an update on the new ProV1's and ProV1x's and Super Select putters.

It's good to hear that your inaugural event went well. We'll definitely have stories to share at TTI 2023.

I sure hope not! If I remember correctly, in 2019 the Phoenix area received a significant amount of snow in late February; we should be safe in early December.

Ha ha Chuck! Snow can occasionally dust our area once or twice a year but pretty much in late January or February time frame. Most likely will see sunny skies and low 70's the last week of November but I would recommend packing a wind shirt or sweater just in case it is a cool week and for early mornings and nights. Might want to throw in a pair of shorts too as we could just as easily see a couple of days in the high 80's.

Two pair of Lightweight Shorts and two pair Performance Knit Pants for sure. Bringing overhead luggage. My SKB is my free checked luggage. I am sure I can find something in the FJ closet that can be layered if necessary. My pro was harassing me about it snowing in November. We wear shorts in the high 60's and 70's here. AZ is one of the few states I have not visited. Looking forward to the visit.
  27. Thank you for sharing this exciting update about the 2023 Team Titleist Invitational event at TPC Scottsdale. It sounds like it will be an amazing experience for all of the participants. I'm glad to hear that so many Team Titleist Members have already signed up and are eager to attend.
  28. Got the call today!! Looks like some are already backing out!

    THIS IS GONNA BE EPIC!
  29. Got the call today! This will be my first TT event after several years of trying! Looking forward to it is definitely an understatement!!!

    Brian:

What to expect? Hard to say as I can't fit this event in to a box. It's an event all onto itself. Enjoy every minute of it. Don't have any expectations about the event. Soak it all it. My first was last year at Streamsong and while I heard stories from the single day local events I attended, it blew what I was expecting away.

I can promise you; it will not disappoint.

    See you there.

Brian, you will enjoy yourself. Have been to the majority and it is a real treat to meet all the folks from all over. We have guys coming down from Canada and from coast to coast. A time to meet and great fellow TT members. Some awesome demonstrations of equipment by Titleist and great guest speakers. Brad Faxon last year. Visit some first class courses and to play them. You will not be disappointed. Nice swag also. Have been to Pinehurst twice, TPC @ Pointe Verde, and Streamsong. Missed Bandon Dunes, Whistling Straits (both walking only which I cannot do), and Kiawah Island (I live in Charleston and have played the courses on a regular basis). Pinehurst is my personal favorite resort. All great venues and the TT staff do it right for us. Kudos to them.

Don't worry about not knowing anyone. By the end of the trip you will have a handful of new friends. Don't worry about your skill level. TT attendees will be everything from scratch to high handicappers. It doesn't matter as the format for play is not super competitive. Just play fast and basic golf etiquette and you will be fine. Pack for warm weather but throw in a few items in case it cools down, especially at night. Just check the weather forecast the week before. Keep a little empty space in your travel bag for the Titleist gift package and anything else you might buy at the course. Don't panic if your entire set of clubs has yet to transition into a full Titleist bag, but do understand that this is a premier TT event and pictures will be taken so avoiding the flaunting of another major OEM brand is preferred. Most of all, as Tyler said, soak it in and enjoy the experience. See you there.

Agree with Tyler on this one. This will be my third and each one that I have been to has been better than the last. The more people you meet and get to know gives it a reunion kind of feel though each one is an experience unto itself. I'll leave you with this one tip. Leave room in your suitcase........you can thank me later. See you there!

LOL. Save room for balls, shirts, and other swag to bring back. That’s the hard part. Otherwise just sit back and enjoy food, location, and the rounds of golf with the only expectation of fun.

Hey 90 days to go so I figured it's time for a thread bump. For those that are interested, today is the first day you can see what the weather is supposed to be like on Accuweather's website. I know it is not very accurate right now but it's something to look at. We should be getting the email in due time so that's something. Finally getting close enough to start counting days instead of months. See you all soon.

    CONFIRMED

    Date: 11/30/2023
    Total

    USD $2,758.00

  42. Thanks Chuck! Definitely going to be keeping an eye out for next year's event! Does it change venues each year for this one?

Each year it kinda rotates from one side of the US to the other. Last year we went to Streamsong in Bowling Green, FL, between Orlando and Tampa. We got the opportunity to play some of the top courses in the US. Kiawah Island, SC (The Ocean Course); TPC @ Ponte Verde, FL (The Players); (2) Pinehurst, NC (#2, #4), Bandon Dunes, OR; Whistling, Straits, WI. And now TPC @ Scottsdale. Call it a bucket list for most. As most of us will advise you. When it is announced, do not hesitate. Depending on the venue they can close out in ten to twenty minutes, but there is always the waiting list. Be ready with your credit card. An experience you will remember. I have three things marked on my calendar for next year. Team Titleist event. Trip to Barcelona, Portugal and Morocco in July and 12 day Rhine River Cruise, Switzerland to Amsterdam in September for my 78th birthday. Let's hope they do not coincide.
  44. Abdon M

The organizers of TTI here in the States look to reserve venues that are "bucket list" places and offer multiple course options in one resort. I believe there has been only one repeat venue, Pinehurst. My guess at some point, there will be repeats considering there are only so many venues that fulfill the TTI requirements.
  45. Guy W

    Guy W

The TTI is a little on the pricey side but for what you get in experiences and camaraderie it is well worth the money. If the cost is a deal breaker just remember that there are many smaller local events put on by members that will get you a taste of the Titleist experience. Just go to the events page. They are also posted on here and in the Facebook group. Hopefully we will see you at an event in the future.

I have gone to San Diego and Chicago area TT events (for the rest of us). Great single day events at an affordable price.

Also have been to all but 1 TT Invitational. These events are definitely destination resorts and priced accordingly. The difference is I can spend more at Pebble Beach and not be able to hang with anyone or do the Invitational with 79 like-minded players. So begin planning for next year if a 3 grand buddy trip is within your ability. I keep hoping the next East Coast event will be Cabot Links, so I make sure my passport is current.

Other than Whistling Straits I don’t know how many of these sites I would have gone with just my wife (non-player).

Have been to Cabot Links/Cliffs and it is definitely and destination resort. Nothing to do there but play golf. Three hour drive from Halifax. Todd T and I played there before it officially opened to the public. Beautiful and worth playing. It was a walking course only when we were there. If still the case, I would be out for sure.

Love to see the new No 10 at Pinehurst. They are having a special for October next year. Pinehurst, where they treat you like family.

Also Sea Island, GA would be a great venue to TTI.

If coming back to east coast.
