Those four-legged family members are so special - sorry for your loss...
  3. Very sorry to hear this. It’s been seven years, and I miss my English Setter every day.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I have a Weimaraner named Largo who I recently lost…and still morn daily. I know how it feels to lose that unconditional love. I write his name on my balls in silver now as a reminder of him. If I could make a suggestion, my typical foursome had an idea to make a ball marker for me of my big boy…it’s called silvercut. They make pics of you dig into jewelry and keychains. I asked to mot drill a hole in the keychain and they engraved his name on the back. A beautiful result, give it a look.

Thanks for the suggestion. This is the seventh doxie I have had to put down. She (her urn) is resting on our bookcase with her sister peacefully and there is a there is a picture hanging on our fireplace that was done by a professional photographer years ago thru our veterinarian. The crematory offered to do a paw print in cement for us but we declined. We have a memorial wall in our sunroom for the four miniature dachshunds that my current wife and I have raised of our favorite pictures and memories over the past 45+ years. Would be devastated if I lost it at the course. Think I will have to pass. Thanks though.
