I hope to get more rounds in this year but just depends on getting more time off this year as well.

I've always been a golfaholic but with my game improving so much over the past few years (thanks, T300's, Vokey wedges and TSi2 driver!!), that I can honestly state that I am so utterly addicted to this game that I will play as often as I can, which would definitely equate to much more than last year.

I expect to play about the same this year as last. TT trips to NC and wherever the TTI is to be held plus my weekly routine of 4 rounds a week or so should keep me in the high 100's, but under 200 for the year, which has become somewhat my norm. I work hard to keep a single digit index, so play and practice, plus lessons and clinics help.
  4. Mine is likely to increase as I joined a local club.

I am planning to play more and focus more on course management and accuracy. O concerned with distance this year.

I always set out to play more every year but it never works out that way. Something always gets in the way.

I’m hoping to play a bit more this year. I played about 60 rounds last year, but I missed the whole month of July with a back issue, and a couple weeks in September with wrist tendinitis. Hope to stay healthier this year.

I'm going to guess I'll play about the same amount this year, but hopefully more of it is with my kids. My 13yo daughter seems to be getting in to it and I want to make sure to soak that time up with her.
  10. Love this poll, I ramped up my golf and strength fitness plan earlier in the fall so that I could hit the ground running in January 2024!
  11. I plan to play 70 rounds this year only managed about 40 last year?
I'm retired so time shouldnt be a problem.
I have joined my EG golf and have set a goal of 15 for my handicap !!
So twice a week playing and at least 2 times a week practicing if I'm going to reach my target.
    Fingers crossed.

At 4-5 times a week my wife would divorce me if I played more.

I plan on playing about the same rounds as last year however I have to admit it is starting to get expensive. I have seen green fees go up $10-$30 per round here in the Tucson area. My friends in Phoenix tell me it is hard to even find a good course under $100 at this time of year. How do they ever plan on getting younger players into golf at these prices. Just my opinion.
  14. Being a dad of 2 young kids, I have only be able to get in a few rounds a year for the last 7 years or so. Last year I signed my oldest (7at the time) up for The First Tee program at our local muni and he has absolutely caught the bug. I’ve gotten to get out a practice at least once a week when he’s at the course and we get out and play at least once a month. It’s been awesome watching his play improve. My 5 year loves coming to the course and putting while big brother is in his class and can’t wait to join The First Tee. 2024 is looking like I will have a whole lot more golf ahead of me! I would recommend introducing golf to your kids, and getting them involved in some kind of kids program.
  15. Work usually limits the total number of rounds. My tournament schedule also impacts how many rounds I play because I am usually practicing more during tournament season than playing.
  16. Golf is a great way to enjoy nature, take a walk in the woods, swim in a stream or lake and have interactions with wildlife. These things usually happen during golf for me, so I should strive to play more often and maybe stay on the fairways (and stay dry!)

Really looking forward to getting in more rounds in 2024. My physical therapist is working on getting me there. If we can get my balance issue squared away, it cold happen, that and breaking in my new clubs. Hakuna matata.

As they saying goes, the road to good golf is full of good intentions. Not really but close. So far not out to a good start with playing more golf. The weather just has not cooperated. El nina has put damper on those good intentions. Along the coast of SC we usually have good weather even in the winter. This year has been unusual with lots of rain and below normal cold weather. Hope to put those good intentions to use soon. PT seems to be coming along as planned.
  19. Good question! I played a lot last year so I am forecasting a similar amount but not less! Maybe more, you never know! Bottom line though is I want to play more international locations in 2024. I have one already planned, the Australia Team Titleist Invitational…hoping for Europe and maybe another event in Japan…

Scotland was amazing last year…I have the bug!!

    Cheers, Chris
  20. Going to consciously make it a priority to play more golf this year. Have been kind of lax with it over the last couple of years and end up not playing much.
Going to dedicate some time for golf this year and get back at it.
  21. "The best laid plans of mice and men", always want to play more. Hoping for an early spring and a lot less rain this year than last during the season.
