  1. I played with the Black numbered balls yesterday and played pretty well. I thought the ball performed fine but nothing really out of the ordinary. I actually putted very well after I got used to the fell of the balls on the greens.

Overall a good review from me.

I just received a sleeve of three test balls in the mail. Unfortunately, because I live in the northeast and I prefer not to play in the cold, I won't be playing these balls until the spring. I was going to play with some friends this past weekend as part of a high school reunion weekend, but it was about 42 degrees and a 20mph wind, and I just can't do that. So, thank you for the golf balls and I'd love to participate in the survey, but I feel like my feedback next spring will be a little too late. I will still provide the feedback though after I've played the balls a few times. Thanks again!!

I received Test balls last year. I did not have a chance to try them out till last spring. I really liked the ball, it travelled straighter and farther than the ball I was using. Needless to say I switched to the 2016 version and have been using them since. Thank you for including me in the program.
  4. Look forward to the opportunity to test your golf balls and then add my comments.
  5. I tested a sleeve of one of the prototype balls earlier this year. Not sure which ball it was but might have been the new Velocity. Really forced me to pay attention to the performance vs the ProV1x that I normally play. It was the first time I have ever been involved in this type of testing and I found it very rewarding. Would love to do it again if given the opportunity.

I think it is always interesting to try new balls. I would love to know later what the balls were if they ever come out. Thanks for the opportunity.

Received my test balls in the past week and played one for the first time yesterday. Distance seems slightly better. My ball flight is higher. Seems to spin better. I stuck several iron shots. Overall, very pleased with the new ball.
  8. Hello. I was happy to see the test prov's arrive in the mail. Took them out right away... The test ball does feel a bit more "crisp" then the current production prov1x. I do agree with others here that the ball does shot off the face a little more hotter and I did see longer role out when putting. I tested against a new sleeve of the prov1x (3) ball on my personal green... Although the weather is turning cold here in MI, the test ball prov1x (1) does see to provide a better result. thank you for the opportunity to test a truly superior product. -Mike

I tested the golf balls that had triangles and squares in them and I like the triangles best

I play Pro V1x's. I played the test balls (actually I only used one) over two days on Medinah's Course 3. The weather was cold (40F to 50F) at start. I am not sure what model the test ball was, but I did notice differences from my usual balls. First, I hit this test ball further than I hit my Pro V's. This is particularly true for my irons -- I flew a couple of greens on what should have been center green shots. Second, the ball would not sit on the greens. Name the iron and I could not get the ball to check on the green. Third, the feel was not as soft as my Pro V's. Fourth, the durability is fine. I play a ball until I lose it or it hits a cart path. This ball was in fine shape after 36 holes -- still have it and will tee it up next round.

Thanks Titleist for the opportunity to be a tester.

Received the white test box last Wednesday and played Breakers West on Saturday with the test balls vs my normal v1x ball. The cover on the test ball seemed a little smoother, not as 'sticky' as the v1x. The ball flighted well, I was able to send it high, low, draw or fade. I did put some marks in the cover on a full 60 wedge from 100 yards out - but that club will tear up any ball. I had a chip onto a green where I was able to spin and stop the ball on the exact spot I aimed for so green side control was spot on.
  12. Just received the Pro V1 test balls last week. Cant wait to test these out in Florida in a couple weeks. Had the test Pro V1's last year and didn't really see much difference. Excited to give these a go!

Really like the new Pro V1x test balls I received in the mail last week. Played 2 rounds so far and love the feel and durability. Seems like I'm getting 5-7 more yards off the tee. Also, when hitting irons into the green these balls dont spin back as much as the current Pro V1x I play, which is good since I cant control the amount of spin like the pro's can. I've played a Titleist ball for almost 30 years and cant wait to buy some of these when they hit the shelves!
  14. Never received the prototypes balls which were evidently sent to me . I found out that they were sent when I received an email asking me to take a survey on their performance. I confirmed that the address on file is correct . I hope whowever got ( stole) them enjoys them. Unfortunately I will not be able to reply to the he survey. Please keep me in the loop for future tests. Thanks

Played the test balls for the last 5 rounds.....they continue the Titleist tradition. The covers of these balls are at least as good and I think probably better as the five rounds were played with the same ball, and it still looks like new.Distance is consistent and control around the green is very good. Thanks

    Hi,

Played with the latest "Red" Pro V1x test balls that were sent to me.

The balls seemed to have slightly lower flight with more iron control. Down wind shots stopped faster on the green. Distance seemed a bit longer 2-4 yds., but feel was about the same as ProV1x balls.
  17. These test balls seem to be a slight upgrade in length. A definite upgrade in feel. A softer feel. Very nice. When do they hit the shelves?
  18. I received my sleeve of protype Pro V's last week and first let me say thank you for sending them. I played with them yesterday and I really like how the ball hit off of the driver and wedges and I was able to get more spin than usual on my wedges. It also spun on the green after hitting a couple of bunker shots. I don't know what changes were made but it seems like I will be playing this new ball when it comes out.

What a great opportunity to participate in. Thank you so much!
I received my sleeve Oct 17 and played nine holes Oct 19 on the Old Course at Indianwood (Lake Orion, MI). Weather was upper 60's with a slight wind. These seemed very firm/high compression to me. As a distance ball player, that's saying a lot. Ball flight was a boring, mid-trajectory with the driver (115-120 swing speed) and very straight. Ball felt very firm off irons, both approach and par 3 tees and stopped amazingly quick. I rarely stop balls (poor grooves) and these stopped within three feet of impact with green. THAT makes for a fun round! I did not notice any distance change from my regular ball. Can't wait to continue using these.
    Thanks again!

Been playing the Pro V1x all this year with good results. My sleeve of Testers came with red numbers so I'm guessing they are 1x's. For the past week I've played the Test ball with my usual 1x. Distance is about the same for both balls but there was a good surprise, I was getting a higher ball flight with the Test ball. Most important was the driver ball flight which I typically line drive most of the time with the 1x, its fun to watch the better arc height of the Test balls. With the 1x I get a drop and stop with the wedges, Test balls likewise dropped and stopped. I like these balls.
