  1. Recently tried the pro v1x. But went back to the pro v1. It fits my style of play. Love that ball.
  2. I found a EXP01 last year and really liked it as did a fiend so both of us bought 2 dozen each and we are getting 10-20 more yards off the tee and better action. I also like the AVX and also the TruSoft. EXP are may favorite but getting hard to find.

I have played the ProV for many years. Recently, due to my age, I have been experimenting with the AVX. It may soon become my ball of choice.

The season is in full swing, so we thought it would be a good time for a quick check-in with all of you to see which Titleist golf ball you've been teeing up this season. Let us know in the quick poll below.

As always, we'd love to hear any feedback about your ball - especially if you're playing a different model than before - or even stories about an amazing shot you've hit this season. So don't forget to add a comment to this thread.

We can't wait to see what you all have to say!

Was using the left dash but have since gone back to the x as it is longer for me than the left dash and feels better around and on the green.
  5. I used yellow Pro V1 balls. I really enjoy the visibility I get when on the fairway. They also stand out more on the putting green.

The PRO V1 is "the" ball. I've been toying between the PRO V1 and the PROV1x and it's really hard to make either the ball of choice but I like the flight of the original PRO V1 a little better.

I have been a ProV1 user for some time. Put the 2021 ProV1 into play recently and found greater spin control around the greens as well as the proper trajectory for my driver.

I have played Titleist since I was a young aspiring golf professional back in the early 70's. I was on the MacGregor staff and got to England and there were no MacGregor balls for me when I arrived. A friend connected me with a Titleist rep and I used them and have ever since.
Most recently I was using the ProV1x and really like the ball....but, I am 76 and hard to really get full value from the ball. A friend recommended I try Tour Soft and the first round I played with it, I shot 75...first time I have shot my age. I am a convert. Ball goes great, feels really nice and the feel off the putter face is fantastic.
I received a package of Tour Speed to try and plan to give them a shot soon, but our golf courses in my area are few and really wet from all the rain here in Texas. Thanks Titleist for all the care you put into ball research and development.

Have played the Pro V1 for years. In a lark, I tried the tour soft when it came out in 2020. I like the way the tour soft lands on the green and stops especially coming in at an angle from a long iron shot. And I don’t lose a super amount of distance off the tee. Can still drive it 230. Titleist is the only ball to use! Nothing else in my bag
  10. The AVX is a great ball. Its got everything I need and I enjoy putting it with my old master putter. You know that feeling you get when you sink a long one? Keep on making those balls, please. On a side note, Your rep at Ravenwood in Victor gave me no love and I was unable to try out your drivers. I raved about the AVX but he was too busy setting up. Someday I'd like to try out your new stuff, my last Titleist driver was the 937d? around year 2000. I hit it a mile. Reps don't like me too much as I am enthusiastic about the product but I guess that means more work for them.

ProV1 Love the feel and the roll on the putting green.

I have switched from the AVX to the Pro V1x. The high launch seems to fit my game better. I have also used the Pro V1 but keep coming back to the X.

My favorite is the ProV1x. It gives me a little higher flight and that's what I want, especially at my age(69) as Father Time slows down my swing speed.

Love the feel and sound. Perfect ball for me.

Love the new AVX, much improved from the previous model. Good distance and green side control.
  15. Just started playing the new prov1and just got a new driver with not same trajectory as used to have. Would I need to switch over prov1x to get my trajectory back

I am using the ProV1 this season and what a difference! Soft feel and great flight length as well as well as very nice length.
Just a real smooth and easy feel to it’s touch at launch!

Have recently been playing the Tour Speed and have found it does add 5+ yards to my drive. Of course it could also be switching to a senior flex shaft on my driver. I also like the ProV1x and have no problem with them as well. Titleist just makes a good product, period.

Going with ProV1x right now. Higher flight and great spin. Goes thru the wind. Titleist is still the ball every other manufacturer tries to compete with. They are ahead of the curve. Keep in the great R&D.

I get more roll out with the speed ball.
Like the feel on the greens
  20. So I hit the ball very high and have very high spin numbers. while I'm ok with that on most clubs the Driver would punish me and I'd barely get any roll. I actually went to a demo and the fitter told me to try the AVX, so I got a sleeve and put them in play. Instantly I noticed a lower launch and the ball rolling out more, while still giving me the stopping power and feel into greens. I like a softer ball and the feel of the AVX is very similar to other balls I have played in the past. Loving it so far!
