  1. Because of my age/vision, I tee up the matte orange Velocity. In a perfect world, I wish the 2021 Pro V1x came in that color. I love the distance and ability to follow the orange Velocity for my drives which are in the 300-250 range, but the scoring iron spin of the 2021 Pro V1x is unbeatable.
  2. Still using Titleist DT here. Guess I got a good deal about 15-20 years ago and stocked up. Don't play an awful lot now. Have around 2-3 dozen left!
  3. I like the AVX as much as the Pro V 1. I get just about the same distance out of both plus they have a similar feel around and on the green.
  4. AVX for me ... Love how it performs in the wind.

I made the switch to the (Left Dash) - Pro V1X last year and love them. I was playing the regular Pro V1 before and tried the AVX but the flight was to low. Saw on the TT page where somebody compared the left das as a Pro V1X trajectory with AVX Spin so I bought a box and have never looked back. Just wish I could get them in Yellow. Old eyes need some help.

Just changed to the new Pro V1X from Left Dash. I needed more spin on approach shots and around the green. The Left Dash is definitely a longer ball, but I just had a hard time dealing with the low spin. Love the new X. Distance is good and it stops on the green. Can’t ask for anything more.

  8. As being an older woman golfer, placing a second shot next to the pin is an awesome feeling, especially when it's a birdie! The matte green Titleist Velocity is the best ball to hit for a medium swing speed and it lands soft on hard greens. It has improved the length of my tee shots as well. A well rounded golf ball for this 60 yo! Thanks!
  9. The left dash suits me very well. Powerful off tee and hit and stop on greens. The other models of pro v would spin to far backwards making it hard to control distance
  10. They are the best!!

I like the feel of the Tour soft, but the Avx is a little longer and straighter for me. I’m am 12.6 handicapp, but it’s coming down. Yea baby

I would love to try the Left Dash but sleeves are impossible to find. In fact, a dozen is difficult to find in my area.
My son, who is a fitter, has said that it's the perfect ball for me but I don't want to buy a dozen and not like them.
Titleist, I would suggest better marketing for the Left Dash and possibly sample sleeves that people can buy to test the ball. For now it's PROV1.

I’m 77 with a 7 handicap. Went to a Titleist Ball Fitting and came out of that now playing the Pro V1x instead of the Pro V1. The increased height and slight distance improvement brought a steeper decent to approach shots. I find I’m closer to the pin than previously. It helps with putting when closer to the hole! Thanks, Titleist, for your support with 1+ hour fitting.

I have been play the Pro V1x since 2005. I started with the original Pro V when it was first introduced and never looked back. When the X was first available I switched and just have kept changing to the newest version occasionally getting a few proto’s to play over the years from different friends who were lucky enough to have access. In recent years I have just kept playing the newest x version. But now I think its time to test all versions available and see which is best for my game at this time. Looking forward to testing soon.

I absolutely love the pop off my driver and irons with a Pro V1X. The ball has plenty of control and feel around the greens. I couldn't be more impressed with the performance. If you haven't had a chance to tour Ball Plant 3, I highly suggest that you sign up for it whenever it's possible. #number1ballingolf.

I only play with Pro V1 or Pro V1X and yesterday I had chance to play AVX and I like it alot. Ball fells good on the contact and ball flight is good. I'm going to buy the AVX and try more going forward
  18. I had been playing the Prov1, until the pro-shop was out. Purchased a dozen of the AVX balls, and have been converted. The workability is still there, and trajectory of these balls suit my game much better. I do not notice much less spin on my approach shots (not quite at a level to feel any difference on spin). Ball still seems to stop nicely, and off the driver, I seem to have less dispersion.
I have enough issues with my swing that the ball does not contribute too much to my poor shots, but I have better confidence when I am looking at an AVX.
  19. A lot of good insight here from a wide variety of golfers. I moved from using Bridgestone and Vice "top" and "middle" of the line balls to using AVX or Pro V1's. I really notice a difference in ball flight between the AVX and Pro V1 as I am a high trajectory hitter. I do get about 5-10 Yard carry and better trajectory with the Pro V1. All around I love Titleist's gear. I moved from cally Irons to the AP2's and couldn't be happier. I am still an Avid png wood and hybrid user, but may make the jump to Titleist everything soon.
  20. Pretty much a Tru Feel person, maybe it is because they are relatively inexpensive and I started out with "freebie" (2doz) of the old DT So/Lo ball and it was the logical progression. I need distance more than spin on the greens as the greens I play are either super receptive (lots of rain) or like concrete (dry spells).
